Create links at central level in their respective governorates with the Universities - Schools - Political Parties - Local Media Channels - Youth centers..and report on impact of such activities as part of the Continued National Dialogue on FGM.
Hold a series of seminars inside the universities & the youth centers on FGM from different perspectives (Medical - Social - Legal - Religious).
Extend change of experience among the different Governorates on best practices on abandoning FGM.
Raising awareness about the value of volunteerism & encourage youth to be volunteers to stop FGM.
Support Central Media Personnel on bringing stories from the field thus inducing the National Dialogue on FGM in the National Media Channels.
Support Project Team in coordination of FGM events at the governorate levels.
Attend all training courses required by project team.
Provide reports to Youth coordinator thus indicating impact at grass root level regarding attitudes toward FGM.
Experience, Qualificationsand Abilities
Preferred B.A Degree.
Preferred to have previous experience in similar development projects.
The candidate must have a significant real experience with grass root communities and keep up the Volunteer values of commitment to the development of Egypt and his people, dedication and flexibility.
Experience in dealing with civil society organizations.
Experience in training, capacity building, or community awareness projects and programs.
Courtesy to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of different backgrounds.
Ability to work as part of a team and to have high sense of responsibility.
Ability to plan and organize work.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing. Ability to present works clearly and be able to face public
Ability to negotiate and convince others.
Availability to travel extensively in the country.
